David Beckham on Thursday said his fitness had improved by 100% since joining AC Milan from the LA Galaxy in December.
''Milan has done me the world of good. My fitness has improved 100% in a month and a half,'' Beckham said on the club website.
The midfielder, who equalled Bobby Moore's record of 108 England outfield caps against Spain Wednesday night, did not comment on Major League Soccer's ultimatum to the Galaxy to sort out Beckham's position by Friday.
MLS chief Don Garber said he needed to know now if Beckham was coming back so he could make plans for the season, which resumes on March 9.
Milan and the Galaxy are talking about turning Beckham's three-month loan into a longer move.
The US club has turned down Milan's first offer for the England star, who wants to stay in Milan.
