From today, tourists wanting to get around Venice on board a water-bus from the station and Piazzale Roma will pay EUR5. Tickets issued by the ACTV, Venice’s local transport company, have in fact increased by 40%.
The standard fare has gone from EUR3.50 to EUR5. The increase will however only relate to tourists: residents and workers with a 'Carta Venezia' will continue to pay EUR1.
