Sansepolcro museum attracts 15,000 visitors a year - Thanks its 15,000 annual visitors, the Aboca Museum in Sansepolcro (Arezzo) is the fifth most visited trade museum in Italy.

The structure belongs to the company by the same name - an industry leader in the transformation and sale of medicinal herbs.

The museum is housed in the Bourbon del Monte Santa Maria building and illustrates the entrepreneurial spirit of the company. It tells the story of man's millennia-old relationship with medicinal herbs and includes cultural and symbolic references.

Other popular trade museums include Ferrari, Perugina, Ducati and Guzzi.

Aboca's profits total more than 45 million euro each year thanks to sales by its 320 employees.

The company includes two production centres and 780 hectares of organic fields, in addition to 4,500 pharmacies in Italy, one in Seattle (USA), and one in Madrid, Spain.

Aboca also has distributors in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.

The company is a proud sponsor of various cultural events throughout Tuscany.

One such event is taking place now at the Uffizi Gallery - thanks to Aboca's contribution, the public can view the original 16th century manuscript of Luca Pacioli's chess treatise until September 2nd.
