AC Milan will have France midfielder Yoann Gourcuff back from Bordeaux unless the French club buys him this summer, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani told the French sports daily L'Equipe Tuesday.
Galliani said he could guarantee playing time for Gourcuff, seen by many as heir to France legend Zinedine Zidane.
The 22-year-old left Milan on a one-year loan last summer and has helped Bordeaux to second spot in the French championship with three goals in 18 appearances.
The loan contract has a 15-million-euro buy-out clause which Bordeaux may exercise.
Galliani told L'Equipe Milan was keen to get him back if they don't.
''Yoann still belongs to us. Let's cross our fingers and hope to get him back,'' he said.
Galliani ruled out a second loan for 'le petit Zizou', who made his France debut last year.
''He won't be loaned a second time. He's an excellent player, he's showing that with Bordeaux and France. There'll be room for him at Milan''.
The Milan midfield is currently crowded after the arrival of David Beckham on loan from the LA Galaxy but the England star is set to return to Major League Soccer in March.
