Italy's largest private airline Air One is still interested in joining a takeover bid for ailing national carrier Alitalia.
''We were interested before and we're still interested today'','' said Air One General Manager Lino Bergonzi.
Another Italian airline, Meridiana, said earlier this week it was interested in the government's plans for privatising Alitalia.
Economy Minister Giulio Tremonti said on Wednesday that Alitalia's advisor bank Intesa San Paolo was putting together a ''solid'' package which would be unveiled in a couple of months.
