The long running case of the Seattle girl charged with murdering her British roomate in Perugia continues to generate worldwide media interest, with the CBS running an interview with Amanda's two sisters.

Ashley Knox, 14, and Deanna Knox, 20, got to visit Amanda and celebrate her birthday with her - she was 22. The celebrations, in jail were kept brief - just one hour - but Amanda had the chance to do it with her family. They could not bring her a cake - as that is against prison regulations - but Amanda prepared one for her family.

The sisters told the CBS reporters that Amanda found ways to be happy and smily and described herself as "tranquil".

The trial is coming to a close and Amanda is awaiting verdict.

The sisters are returning home Thursday, while there is a two-month summer recess in Amanda Knox’s murder trial.
