Car producer Audi (Audi Firenze) became the latest member of the Associazione Partners Palazzo Strozzi, which is presided over by Lorenzo Bini Smaghi.
An agreement was signed between Association president Leonardo Ferragamo and Giuseppe Tartaglione, president and general manager of the Volkswagen Group Italia, to which Audi Firenze belongs.
It is a three year commitment for an investment of 300,000 euro a sum that translates into new and ever expanding opportunities to support promotional activities and improve the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi.
Ferragamo expressed pride and satisfaction on behalf of the entire association, ''It is another step forward thanks to the contribution and patronage of private companies, which benefit Palazzo Strozzi and its future.
''A large international company like Audi that joins our project with passion and enthusiasm is testimony to the good work done up until now and a bigger push towards excellence. Many thanks from me, the association partners and our city, go out to Mr. Tartaglione for the support and trust''.

Audi Firenze will become part of the Association as a founding member, a list that includes American Express, Banca Toscana, The Boston Consulting Group, Emilio Pucci, Ferragamo Finanziaria, Fingen, Gucci Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, Rocco Forte Collection, Saatchi & Saatchi and to supporting members Fondazione Pignone, Aeroporto di Firenze, Banca di Credito Cooperativo del Chianti Fiorentino, ENIC Meeetings & Events, Target Corporation, KME Group and The Wine Families.
