Leather clothes designed by Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney were to grace a Milan catwalk on Tuesday night as part of a campaign to highlight the crisis in Darfur.
Clooney, along with acting buddies Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle, has created a set of limited edition gladrags for the Italian clothing company Belstaff.
The clothes - mostly colonial style leatherwear - have the label 'Not On Our Watch', recalling the foundation of the same name set up by Jerry Weintraub, producer of the film Ocean's 13.
The Not On Our Watch foundation aims to draw attention to crimes against humanity and has recently focused its attention on the situation in the Darfur region of Sudan.
International aid groups believe more than 200,000 people have died and 2.5 million have been expelled from their homes in more than four years of strife in the region.
The proceeds from the showing of the 'Not On Our Watch' clothes will be donated to the population of Darfur.
The cast of Oceans 13 have been campaigning for Darfur for some time and have jointly given $750,000 for humanitarian aid in the troubled region of Sudan.
