A Sicilian couple were nabbed by police Sunday night having sex in the street.
Answering complaints from drivers, the police found the pair on a pavement on Palermo's ring road, naked and ''engaged in full sexual intercourse,'' officials said.
The man, identified as A.M., 55, reportedly told officers the couple were homeless and therefore forced to have sex outdoors.
He said he was married to the woman, identified as 41-year-old G.B.
A.M. was subsequently found to have ''numerous'' convictions for acts of public indecency, police said.
