The Festival di Londra at Ripatransone, Le Marche opens on the 9th August in beautiful Teatro Mercantini at 9.30pm with the outstanding young Lithuanian pianist, Evelina Puzaite, who has won a stack of major international competitions and musical scholarships over the past few years, and has already played in all London's major music venues.
The Festival incorporates La Notte di San Lorenzo on Thursday 10 August, when the locals celebrate "la notte delle stelle" by walking together through the softly lit cobble streets of the old medieval town from piazzetta to piazzetta where a variety of artists entertain them under the stars.
On Friday 11th, the Festival is proud to present "The Lightfingered Gentry", an outstanding duo of two prominent soloists, who have played together for many years.
Martin Feinstein, one of the UK's foremost flautists, and Richard Hand, a virtuoso guitarist.
They will premiere a piece specially written for the occasion by composer Tom Armstrong.
