The Fiat 500, one of the Italian car maker's best loved models, won the Most Beautiful Car on the Web 2008 award at the second edition of the Infomotori Web Awards.
The competition was organised by Italian web magazine for automobiles Infomotori.
The Fiat 500 received most of the 100,000 votes expressing preferences in a range of candidates online, Infomotori said in a statement.
The readers of the Italian magazine voted for vehicles divided in 10 categories.
Fiat's Panda model of won the prize in the Ecological category.
Maserati's Gran Turismo won the award for best sports car, beating competition from Lamborghini's Gallardo Superleggera and the Audi R8.
The award ceremony will take place at the International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland.
Alfa Romeo's Alfa Spider won Infomotori's award Most Beautiful Car on the Web for 2007.
