Fiat has decided to change the logo it puts on its cars and the new one will make its debut in January on the revamped 'Bravo' model. The new logo was designed by Robilant Associati, a leader in brand and strategic design, and was inspired by the one Fiat used on its cars between 1931 and 1968.
It has a rectangular shield-like shape with a ruby red background on which Fiat is spelled out in long white letters.
The logo currently in use is circular with Fiat in white letters on a blue background.
A statement from Fiat said the design of the new logo "brings to mind technology, Italian design and individuality. It represents both change and continuity". The 'Bravo' is a revamped version of Fiat's 'Stilo' compact family car for which Fiat has now decided to use the name of the model it replaced in 2001.
