Architects compete to design façade of Vespucci airport - AdF the management company for the Florence airport has announced a competition of ideas in which architects compete to design the façade of the new Vespucci space.
The goal is to choose a prestigious designer that is able to manage the entire restyling project. Applications will be accepted until September 6, 2007.
The designer will be selected from a group of international professionals with experience in designing airports, docks, railway stations or other large public infrastructure projects related to transportation.
The AdF competition will take place in two stages after the jury has reviewed all initial applications, they will select five finalists who will then present three different models from which the jury will choose the winner.
