Companies in the geothermal sector in the Pisa province will be protagonists of the Hanover Energy Fair being held April 21 to 25.
Hanover is the leading city in the world for renewable energy. Economic, political and scientific experts will be present at the international event dedicated to energy technologies.
The goal of the initiative promoted by the Pisa Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany is to promote the geothermal initiatives by Pisa businesses, favour the exchange of know-how between Italian and German operators, and stimulate the possibility of forming agreements among companies.
Within the context of the fair, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany will organize a seminar entitled ''The Geothermic Market in Italy'' on April 22. Experts will give information on promotional and financial services, legal aspects, market developments and on the principal businesses in Italy.
The fair is part of a series of initiatives on the part of the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Europe and South America within the context of the ''Renewable Energy'' project, whose main goal is collaboration without borders in order to favour renewable resources.
The central theme for 2008 is geothermal energy, the technological sector in which Italy (and Tuscany in particular) has developed significant knowledge and results.
