'Ibra staying,' Moratti believes

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay at Serie A leaders Inter Milan despite blowing his top in a 2-0 win over Lazio that kept them seven points clear of AC Milan with four to play, Chairman Massimo Moratti believes.

''I think it was an instinctive thing,'' Moratti said, referring to an insulting gesture Ibra made to the crowd after being booed, and then his telling them to shut up after he scored Inter's opener.

''It was just that he didn't think he was going to be booed just then. That's what he told we when we talked about it afterwards,'' Moratti went on.

''But I think he's going to stay here next year''.

Ibrahimovic is reportedly unhappy at Inter's continuing lack of success in Europe and the most recent reports have linked him to Spain's top clubs.

There has also been renewed speculation about Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri's future after a 1-1 home draw with Lecce, Juve's fifth straight game without a win.

The Turin club are now four points behind Milan in third and five points clear of fourth-placed Fiorentina, who could in theory overtake them.

Milan won 2-0 at Catania to keep the title race theoretically alive, but veteran striker Pippo Inzaghi, who scored to move closer to Roberto Baggio as Serie A's top modern-day scorer, said ''the scudetto is Inter's''.

Ibrahimovic and Co can clinch Inter's fourth straight title if they win at Chievo next week and Milan loses at home to Juve.
