Inter Milan on Thursday denied a Manchester United fan's claim that Inter coach Jose' Mourinho punched him after Inter's 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford Wednesday night.
In a statement, the club said the Portuguese coach had had ''an extremely calm'' post-match session of autograph signing before saying goodbye to United coach Sir Alex Ferguson and boarding the team coach outside the changing room.
The unidentified United fan who made the charge reportedly said Mourinho assaulted him in the carpark.
