Italians and Germans are working together to construct in Dubai a trade centre to be named after Michael Schumacher.
A symbol of the relations between the two countries, it will be called Michael Schumacher Business Avenue and will rise in the Business Bay of the emirate, an area which will become the City of the Middle East.
The works, which started this year, will end at the beginning of 2010.
It will be a 29-floor tower, each floor of 500 square metres, which will host trade offices.
The centre dedicated to the seven-time world champion former Ferrari driver will be built by a joint venture between Multiplata Real Estate of Lorenz Ziller, the first real estate company managed by Italians in Dubai and the German constructor ACI.
''This project follows the success of the Niki Lauda Tower, dedicated to another famous driver, whose real estate was sold in a week,'' Multiplata said.
