Italy's Champions League contenders got a tough draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month.
AS Roma will face Manchester United and AC Milan Bayern Munich.
The Italians managed to avoid each other but victories will set up a semi-final clash between them.
Pundits said the Italians had got two of the most feared opposition - especially Roma with Premier League leaders Man Utd.
Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was philosophical, however.
"They're all strong at this stage," he said.
"Manchester are obviously one of the best teams but I think we're better tactically," he said.
Ancelotti said "I would have been sorrier if we'd got Roma or Man Utd".
"It's a very well-balanced round but there were stronger teams (than Bayern) in the draw," he said.
Both coaches said they were glad they'd avoided each other and would be "looking forward" to a semi-final clash if they get through.
Roma's first leg will be played in Rome on April 4 and the second in Manchester on April 11.
Milan will face the German giants at home on April 3 and away on April 10.
The other quarter-finals are PSV Eindhoven against Liverpool and Chelsea against Valencia, which knocked out Italian champs and league leaders Inter Milan this week.
The semi-finals are on April 24/25 and May 1/2 and the final in Athens on May 23.
