World champions Italy rose one place to fourth in the latest FIFA rankings, leapfrogging Brazil.
European champs Spain continued to lead a ranking that was largely unchanged apart from Netherlands jumping over Germany, to rise from third to second, and England leapfrogging Argentina, from 7th to 6th.
