How clever the Italians are. Just when you think that February is the wettest and bleakest month ever created they make it the time of year to party. Carnevale is what it’s all about this month and yet another excuse to eat more delicious cakes and to dress up. The streets are strewn with coloured confetti and children stroll around dressed as mini icons (Elvis and Snow White chatting in the playground is not uncommon). "
