Juvetus win 'end for Milan'

A Juventus win against old rivals AC Milan on Saturday night will spell the end of the Rossoneris' Champions League qualification dreams, Juve winger Mauro Camoranesi said Thursday.

''If we beat Milan I can't see them coming back into the Champions League frame,'' Camoranesi told reporters at Juve's training ground.

Fifth-placed Milan are four points adrift of Fiorentina, currently in the fourth and last Champions League berth.

Third-placed Juve are ten points behind second-placed Roma, having effectively blown their slim title hopes with a 3-2 defeat at Palermo last weekend.

With Kakha Kaladze and Alessandro Nesta likely to be out of Saturday's match, Milan look likely to field back-up defenders Giuseppe Favalli, Daniele Bonera and Cafua alongside club legend Paolo Maldini.

Maldini, for one, is not ready to give up the ghost with six games to go.

''I can't imagine Milan without the fourth slot and I won't give up as long as there's the slightest hope,'' he told Sky on Thursday.

Second-placed Roma, smarting from their Champions League elimination by Manchester United Wednesday, hope to have skipper Francesco Totti back in their bid to close a four-point gap on leaders Inter at Udinese.

Inter host Fiorentina in the weekend's other big match with top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic still an injury doubt.

Livorno host Cagliari in a relegation dogfight Sunday.

The winner would move out of the drop zone.
