AC Milan fans left dozens of letters at Kaka's Milan apartment block as protests continued against the prospect of the Brazil star leaving Milan for Manchester City.

''Ours was a page long. We told him with out hearts what he means to us and begged him to stay,'' Niccolo', 20 told reporters.

Kaka's father and agent Bosco Leite arrived in Milan Monday to discuss the bid with his son.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani was set to meet club owner Silvio Berlusconi.

The bid is reportedly in the region of 110 million euros, a new world record.

Media have reported that Kaka would be offered a signing-on 'gift' of 10 million euros plus weekly wages of around 500,000 euros.
