AC Milan playmaker Kaka on Wednesday ruled out a move to Manchester City, the cash-rich Premier League club which is reportedly ready to smash the world transfer fee record for the Brazil star.

''I want to grow old at Milan,'' said the 26-year-old, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2006 and the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2007.

''I've already refused major bids,'' he said, adding that he aimed to become Milan captain.

According to media reports, City - now the richest club in the world after a takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group - has bid 100 million euros for Kaka.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani was reported to have met City officials Tuesday night out of courtesy, with no bid being discussed.

Club owner Silvio Berlusconi has said he hopes Kaka stays at Milan.

In the past, Milan have repeatedly turned down lavish bids for Kaka from Real Madrid.
