Soccer: Lippi eager to returnWorld Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi says he's eager to get back on the bench next year - in Italy or abroad.

In interviews with Italy's biggest dailies Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica, Lippi indicated that he was tempted by two possibilities: a big foreign club, or ''an Italian one that likes to groom home-grown talent, like Fiorentina''.

Asked if he preferred England or Spain, he replied: ''Spain - not because of the philosophy (of play) but because of the language''.

''I really miss football, more than I thought I would,'' Lippi told La Repubblica.

''I'll be putting my tracksuit back on in July, that's for sure''.

''Lately I've been thinking I've been out of the game too long, but I'm not rusty''.

The coach also revealed he had had second thoughts about refusing a return to Juventus last year.

Speaking with Corriere, Lippi hailed the recent appointment of his long-time club rival Fabio Capello as England coach.

''It's historic - further recognition for Italy as world champions twice over, with the Azzurri and with Milan''.

Lippi has been linked to Tottenham, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan.

The 59-year-old Tuscan coach has been out of the game since stepping down as coach of the Azzurri following last summer's World Cup success in Germany.

Lippi is one of the most successful coaches of the modern era, having won five Italian championships during two spells at Juventus.

With the Bianconeri he also won a Champions League title, an Intercontinental Cup, a Coppa Italia and a European Supercup.

He also finished runner-up in the Champions League on three occasions, in 1997, 1998 and 2003, and lost a UEFA Cup Final in 1995.
