Lucca's IMT stars at Harvard and MIT in BostonDirector Fabio Pammolli hosts seminars for MIT students - The post-graduate institute IMT (Institutions Markets Technologies) in Lucca has sent an example of the Tuscan university model to two 'temples' of American academics, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston.

This is thanks to a series of seminars held by IMT director Fabio Pammolli, at MIT one of the most important research universities in the world and Harvard University, the oldest and most prestigious American university.

Founded in 2005 in Lucca, the IMT - created by an initiative of Politecnico Milano, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, the University of Pisa and the LUISS in Rome - offers post-graduate and research programmes in political and social sciences, economics, management, bio-robotics, industrial technology and information science.
