AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini on Tuesday revealed he had been ''afraid'' during the Kaka transfer saga.
''At one point I was afraid he might go but now everything's ended well,'' the veteran skipper said.
He also revealed that his eldest son had ''almost cried'' when he heard of Manchester City's world record bid last week and was ''over the moon today''.
Kaka turned down a reported 100 million euro bid after five fraught days Monday night, saying he had prayed to God for guidance and in the end been ''led by my heart''.
