Mallett names squad for France

Italy coach Nick Mallett on Tuesday named his squad for Italy's fourth Six Nations match, against France in Paris on Sunday March 9. The only change from the line-up that went down 47-8 in Wales on Saturday is Jacobus Erasmus of Montepaschi Viadana, who earns his first call-up.

The record-equalling thrashing by the unbeaten Welsh was a wake-up call for the Italians who finished strongly in their first two games, losing 16-11 to Ireland at Croke Park and 23-19 to England in Rome.

After France, Italy wind up their campaign in what is being billed as a wooden-spoon play-off against Scotland in Rome on March 15.
