Roberto Mancini is very likely to stay at Inter, a top club official said Monday.

''There's more than an 80% chance that we'll continue with Mancini,'' General Manager Ernesto Paolillo said a day after the club clinched its 16th title and third in a row.

''The players want him,'' Paolillo said.

He said club chairman Massimo Moratti would talk to the manager ''this week or after (Saturday's) Italian Cup Final against Roma'' to sort things out.

''Everything will be addressed very calmly, with a view to building a great future together''.

Paolillo said Mancini's future would never have been in doubt if the coach had not said he was leaving after Liverpool eliminated Inter from the Champions League.

Despite Mancini's swift rethink there was still a need for ''clarification'' on both sides, Paolillo said.

Mancini, who was again strongly linked to Chelsea by Monday's British press, has Sweden star Zlatan Ibrahimotic to thank if he holds on to his job, the Italian press said.

Ibrahimovic, who came on against Parma after six weeks out to score two goals that wrenched the scudetto from Roma's grasp, was described as The Man Of Dreams and Genius by La Gazzetta dello Sport and The Man of Destiny by La Repubblica.

La Stampa said Ibra-cadabra, Scudetto For Inter.
