AS Roma on Tuesday signed the transfer of Brazilian forward Alessandro Mancini to reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan.
Inter will pay Roma 13 million euros over the next three seasons for the striker, plus a bonus of up to 1.5 million euros linked to Mancini's performance.
A friendly between Inter and Roma during the 2009-2010 season was also written into the deal.
Mancini, who turns 28 on August 1, came to Italy six years ago and spent his first year on loan from AS Roma to Venezia in the second division.
He then joined AS Roma for the 2003-2004 season and in his five years with the club he scored 80 goals in Serie A, two in the Champions League and three in the Italian Cup.
Mancini's arrival at Inter coincides with that of former Chelsea Coach Jose' Mourinho, who has vowed to win the Champions League for the Milan side.
