The first 'CE' Marking guide in Europe has been published in Carrara.
The guide is intended to facilitate the application of European directives on construction materials in the marble industry.
The sixty-two page volume boasts bilingual text in English and Italian and comes complete with diagrams and photos taken by "Internazionale marmo e macchine Carrara" (IMM).
"In the face of stiff global market competition, our businesses must focus on quality above all else," explained IMM President Giancarlo Tonini.
"In addition, we must ensure elevated production, equipment and service standards as well as a strong understanding of the materials and the best methods to utilize them.
