Monaco playmaker Jeremy Menez is moving to AS Roma, the player's agent told Italian radio Wednesday.
''It's a done deal,'' agent Jean-Pierre Barnes said, adding that the clubs would wait till Thursday to announce it.
He said Roma Chairman Rosella Sensi had agreed terms with Monaco and the player.
''Menez is over the moon,'' Barnes said, adding that several top European clubs had been interested in him.
Along with Brazil's Julio Baptista, recently signed from Real Madrid, Menez would complete a Roma front line-up depleted by the departure of Mancini to Inter Milan and Ludovic Giuly to Paris Saint-Germaine.
Menez and Baptista are expected to supply strikers Mirko Vucinic and Francesco Totti.
Menez, 21, was the youngest-ever scorer of a hat-trick in the French league and also the youngest-ever recipient of its Player of the Month award.
He has scored 34 goals for Monaco in the last two years and appeared once for France B last year.
Inter was reportedly among the clubs who wanted Menez put thought Monaco's reported asking price of 15 million euros was five million euros too high.
