AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has told his men to dominate Manchester United from start to finish Wednesday to reach the Champions League final for the third time in five years.
Milan need to win Wednesday's semi-final return at the San Siro Stadium, after losing 3-2 in Manchester last week.
"We cannot allow them to take the game in hand, not even for 15 minutes," Ancelotti said Monday.
"There is so much at stake in a game we have worked all year for.
"Their strength is attack, not defence, so we'll have to stop them playing".
It's a high-pressure must-win match and many Milan stars are taking heart from the fact that they were in a similar position against Bayern Munich in the last round.
A 2-2 draw in the first leg left them needing to beat German giants away from home - which they did in style, 0-2.
"United are a strong side that counterattack quickly. The movement of their strikers is great and they are a young team too," Brazil star Kaka, the author of both Milan's goals in Manchester, said on Monday.
"We need to pull off a feat like the one we achieved against Bayern. But this time we have the advantage of playing at home.
"It will be a great spectacle. We can do it."
Kaka's two away goals from the first leg mean that Milan can go through with a 1-0 or 2-1 win, even though the aggregate scores would be level.
The Brazilian is the Champions League's top scorer with nine goals.
Captain Paolo Maldini has problems with a knee injury, although the Milan camp are optimistic the veteran defender will be fit to lead them into action Wednesday.
If he is not, Georgia's Kakha Kaladze will probably take his place in the centre of the back-line.
Gennaro Gattuso has recovered from the foot injury he sustained in the second half of last week's first leg.
So the Milan starting line-up should be the same as the one employed at Old Trafford, except in attack.
Ancelotti is expected to use Filippo Inzaghi up front, instead of fielding Alberto Gilardino alongside Kaka.
Inzaghi, who fired in the second goal in Munich, is looking for his 57th score in European competition.
Ancelotti backed under-fire Brazil goalkeeper Dida, who was blamed for Man Utd's first and third goals last week.
"Dida has my trust and the trust of the team," he said.
"He does not look nervous and I think he's ready to give a great performance".
Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo believes the experience of the first leg, when a Wayne Rooney strike gave United victory at the death, will keep Milan focused.
"That showed us that English teams never give up. Even though the game was almost over they still managed to attack and score," Pirlo said.
"We'll have to maintain our concentration right up to the final whistle.
"We know we are a great team. We know we can beat any side, Manchester United included".
Milan eliminated the Red Devils with two 1-0 victories in the first knock-out round of the competition in 2005 on their way to the final.
Some 4,500 Manchester United fans are expected to fly over for the game.
Milan's prefect has banned the sale of alcohol in many parts of the city on Wednesday to reduce the chance of a repeat of the trouble that marred the AS Roma-Man Utd quarter-final.
If Milan prevail Wednesday, they will meet Chelsea or Liverpool in the Champions League final in Athens on May 23.
