Mourinho tribute to Mancini

Inter Milan coach Jose' Mourinho paid tribute to his predecessor Roberto Mancini after his new team beat Roma on penalties to lift the Italian Super Cup
for the third time in four years.

''I won the Super Cup but Mancini also deserves credit because he won the league last year,'' said the former Chelsea and Porto boss.

''I thought of Mancini because it's not nice being out of work in soccer and because after I won the league title and the Champions League with Porto
and went to Chelsea, the team played the Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup but everyone forgot me,'' he said.

Mourinho said he had been ''happy'' with Inter's performance but was still hoping to bring Porto midfielder Riccardo Quaresma to Milan.

He greeted the news of AC Milan's last-minute signing of Andriy Shevchenko by saying the striker could score as many goals as he liked as long as it
wasn't against Inter.

''I can't wish him great success in the championship because Milan is one of our rivals but I'd be very happy if he became top scorer in the UEFA
Cup,'' said Mourinho, who was criticised by some for not fielding the Ukraine great at Chelsea.
