AC Milan is on the verge of landing Barcelona's Brazil ace Ronaldinho, sources close to the transfer talks said Tuesday.
According to the sources, Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani upped his offer from 15 million to 18.5 million euros at a lunch in Barcelona Tuesday with Barca President Joan Laporta.
The sources said this was close enough to the Catalan club's asking price of 20 million.
They added it was ''possible'' that the Brazil striker would fly back to Milan with Galliani Tuesday night and be unveiled at Milan training camp Wednesday.
Ronaldinho, 28, joined Barca after winning the 2002 World Cup and has scored 70 goals in 145 matches for them.
He has 82 Brazil caps and 32 goals for his country.
