Three rudimentary devices exploded during the night in a fashionable Turin neighborhood causing no injuries and little damage, local police said.
The devices were made using pressure cookers and placed in garbage bins located in the Einaudi, Govone and Trento avenues in an elegant area of the city known as Crocetta.
Two bins were totally destroy while a third was only partially damaged and is now being examined by police experts.
Special anti-terrorism police have been called in to investigate and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the act. However, police sources said they suspected pseudo-anarchist groups which have been active in the region of Piedmont.
