Michael Schumacher on Thursday raved about the new Ferrari sports car he has helped develop.
The seven-time Formula One world champ said he had been ''thrilled'' to be in on the creation of the Ferrari California from the start - just as he was for its predecessor the 430 Scuderia.
The German driving legend said the two cars were different but equally fascinating for sports car fans.
''The 430 Scuderia is a more extreme vehicle geared to giving maximum performance while the California boasts more luxury on board''.
''Scuderia buyers will be itching to get it on to a race track while California owners can use it every day or for a weekend break''.
''But as different as they are, they both offer unique driving pleasure''.
Schumacher said the California, which will be presented at the Paris Motor Show in October, ''guarantees emotions only a Ferrari can provide''.
