Flash News - 'Everyday' wine guide chooses best wines under 8 euros - The guide, sponsored by Slow Food, will be presented at the Salone del vino in Turin.
It lists wines that maintain an appropriate quality-price ratio, highlights new varietals, new wineries, new styles and methods in winemaking.
There are approximately 2,000 wines listed in the guide - 540 of them are classified 'everyday' wines. Tuscany and Piedmont have the most wines listed.
There was a significant increase in the number of wines listed from Southern Italy.
