Flash News - 40 Italian, international firms to offer preview in January Women s fashion returns to Florence during the Pitti Woman Pre-collection a preview of next spring s Paris and Milan fashion shows. The event is set to take place in the newly renovated exhibition space in the former customs house on Via Valfonda, next to the Fortezza da Basso.
Planned for January 9-12, 2008, the event coincides with Pitti Immagine Uomo and foresees the participation of 40 Italian and international companies that will preview their most important pieces in Tuscany capital city.
They will present their pre-collections, a series of products that represent a consistent, if not fundamental portion of their sales. This initiative brings the female runway back to Florence 25 years after Pitti Donna . Pitti Immagine will simultaneously expand its own role as commercial platform.
