Italy kept the number two spot in November's FIFA rankings despite drawing in its friendly with Turkey.
Brazil remained at the top of the standings while Argentina pushed France down from third to fourth place and England kept its position in fifth.
Germany stayed in sixth place and the Netherlands in seventh, while Portugal gained a position to reach eighth and Nigeria jumped into the top ten by coming in ninth from its previous 11th slot.
