International meeting on environmentally friendly tourism - Eurotourism comes to Florence on November 16-17 to promote environmentally friendly tourism.
It is the fifth edition of a programme for tourism operators, local entities and consumer associations presented by the Tuscan Region and sponsored by the European Union. The event will take place at Palazzo degli Affari and will offer a schedule rich with meetings and debates.
Numerous European countries will be present including Spain, France, the UK, Austria, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. Each country will compare its experiences within an environmentally friendly tourism model.
Euromeeting will also be an occasion for organizations and groups to measure their success on the most recent European tourism fronts.
The goal is to create a specific European network that will consolidate the relationships between regions, localities, member states and the EU, while keeping industry and consumers in mind. The programme will end with the signing of an initial agreement.
