Vietnam goes VespaHanoi spotlights 'genius' scooter - The Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi is currently hosting 'Italian Genius Now', an exhibit curated by Prato's Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci.

The Vespa scooter is one of the main protagonists of this dynamic exhibit where art, industrial products and photography represent Italy as a 'creative laboratory' capable of producing objects of extremely high aesthetic value.

From Corradino D'Ascanio's original Vespa GS 150 to the MP3 Piaggio's futuristic scooter launched in 2007 this universal symbol of freedom is just one example of sixty years of Italy s practical creativity.

The exhibition was organized by Marco Bazzini and is sponsored by the Italian Foreign Ministry and the Italian Embassy in Hanoi with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture in Singapore, the Tuscan Region and the Municipality of Prato.

'Italian Genius Now', in Hanoi until October 8, will move to Singapore from November 28 to December 8.
