'We showed we can get title'

''We showed (David) Beckham we can get the (Serie A) title,'' said Kaka after his two goals and another couple from Brazil teammate Pato helped AC Milan beat Udinese 5-1 to the applause of the England midfielder and his wife in the San Siro stands.

Kaka said the win, which keeps Milan in third slot, three points behind Juventus and nine behind leaders and champs Inter, also showed he was not ''incompatible'' with Milan's earlier star arrival, Ronaldinho.

''Playing further forward and closer to 'Dinho, I'm more useful to him and the team,'' Kaka said.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti said the squad's New Year training break in Dubai would be vital to the club's stated goal of bringing the scudetto back to their side of Milan after three years in Inter's hands.

''We'll make or break our season in Dubai,'' he said.

''If we work well and get important players back then we'll still be alive,'' the coach said, citing defender Alessandro Nesta as the most missed player.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said the coach had ''approved'' Beckham's three-month loan from the LA Galaxy but was ''under no obligation'' to put the England star in the team.
