Best of Florentine fashion, wine, food and crafts on show - Wine & Fashion Florence will take Tuscany's specialties to Beaver Creek, Colorado (USA) from January 31 to February 2.
It is an occasion for prestigious brands in the local industries - wine, food, arts, and fashion - to strut their stuff and encourage tourism to the American public, who have been strong supporters of Made in Italy.
The mission is promoted by the Terre del Levante Fiorentino consortium.
This is the third time - the first in Moscow in 2004 and the second in Darmstadt in 2006 - the consortium has promoted economic growth with an international initiative.
The event will take place in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
Marcello Ulivieri, president of the Terre del Levante Fiorentino explained: ''On one hand, the Beaver Creek event allows us to accentuate the international side of the Wine & Fashion Florence project and increase its value in terms of international cooperation and globalisation of businesses.
''On the other, it helps build a bridge to the U.S., in particular to an area rich in potential for our businesses, with an audience to whom we can export our traditional, original and unique products.
