I've just received a text to my UK mobile that perports to be from my wife.
..... it says I can get free international calls from my mobile if I call 07744 etc.... then I get through to a number that acts as a re-seller and I just have to "enter the destination you require followed by a #" ....... you probably know the format!
The idea is that as this number is a mobile number then I can use it as part of my 'inclusive minutes'; this means that it's free!
Trouble is, it's not free.
The text is clever as it says I need to check with my provider to ensure that the 07744 number really [s]is[/s] free......but it's not likely one would check.
There's a useful bit of information on this site about minimising UK to Italy call charges....... a better place to start than a dodgy, unsolicited test!
