7231 ENEL......again(!?)

This is just to warn you of the (near)future.Officially there has been liberalization of electricity suppliers in Italy.In reality Enel(your old friends) still control just about everything.In order to cut the legs off aspiring new suppliers (before they even start)Enel has given birth to a number of new companies (owned by enel) these are proposing especially to businesses apparently quite interesting offers.My friend who manufactures alu window shutters informed me and shortly afterwards i was visited by "energia pura"
(see enel) they told me that signing up in May 2007 they were willing to "block" my tariff (as business) at jan 2007 level and keep it until jan 2009,which is better than nothing i thought.
recently i saw my friend he has just received 4 bills together (from energia pura)for April,May,June, july for about Euro 7.000,00.He told me that they were all estimated and the first three already deducted from his account.The interesting thing is that his consumption when it was Enel was about 70kw a month whilst these have been "estimated" at kw126 x month.they justified this saying that enel only give them the readings once a year(!!??).
Immediately i went to check my bills and low and behold no bill since April,whilst i used to receive every month.I called energia pura they told me that i'd receive a bill (s) in 90 days so i'm expecting similar treatment.The morale is "NON LASCIARE MAI LA STRADA VECCHIA PER QUELLA NUOVA" especially where Enel is involved!
