OK, this comes under the CULTURE element, rather than the entertainment (for most!) :eerr:

There was an interesting article on [URL="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7040259.stm"]BBC Online[/URL] about kissing.....aparently it's creeping in to British society (Shock! Horror!) but I'd be interested to hear everyone's experiences on when one should (not) kiss and who one should (not) kiss.

This may seem a curious topic to those members who are permanently based in Italy, but to those who are not it's of more interest.

Interestingly, the article posts some country-specific protocols on how many times one should expect a kiss:

[B]Two:[/B] Spain, Austria, Hungary, Greece, some parts of France
[B]One:[/B] Belgium
[B]Close friends and family only: [/B]Germany, Italy, Middle East (except between male friends)
[B]Don't try it:[/B] Japan (bow)
