This is a 15th century bed and breakfast in Velletri, Lazio, south of Rome, I stayed at in early October 2005.
When I arrived the day it was bucketing down and very very cold. What a difference a day makes!!! The temperature soared to 30 within 24 hours and I was able to sunbathe on one of the many terraces, and enjoy a glass of red wine with some nibbles that my host (from Abruzzo) very kindly brought me.
The grounds too are extensive with cypress and olive trees. If I had a million pounds I would happily have paid it for staying here. Instead only €35 per night with a full breakfast, cheeses, ham, melon, fruit juices, bread, jams, biscuits, cakes, cereals, coffee ..... Truly truly wonderful.
I should have the contact details somewhere should any of you be interested please feel free to send me a private message..
