8834 Get together Saturday 1st March 3pm onwards

Spring is finally just around the corner and it’s time to get out and shake off those winter blues………………..

The next Marchexchange get together will be held at The Villa Ugolini hotel near Cingoli on Saturday March the 1st between 3pm and 6pm. There will be refreshments and some local specialities available to taste. Please do bring friends or relatives and do pass the word on to any others who you feel might be interested. The meetings are more than just about a’ bunch of English’ meeting up and swapping books……..they are a huge source of information and support to those who are living, renovating or thinking of taking the plunge and coming to live here in Italy. People have exchanged various information on renovation prices, contractors, gas prices (and how to negotiate the lowest ones), antique finds, local wine cantinas and other local foods, hairdressers, restaurants and language classes to name but a few! People come from all over Le Marche, often stopping somewhere for lunch on the way and making a day of it.

For those of you who aren’t available………..we hope to see you at the next one which will be held towards the end of April/the beginning of May! Remember you can also request books on-line to be sent to you by post.

For those of you who can make it………..please could you confirm your attendance with approximate numbers by Wednesday the 27th of February. Please could you also pre-register any new books you may be bringing so they can be signed out by others if necessary on the day. Registering of books into the central virtual library is quick and easy and step by step instructions are available for you to follow on the Forum as are instructions for the usage of all sections of the site.
