Since Norcia is only about 45 minutes from Ascoli Piceno we have been up there twice to check it out, a lovely town completely surrounded by walls. And the food is great!
Yesterday we went to Cantina de Norsia which is just off Piazza Garibaldi. The service was friendly and the food was good (pasta with cinghiale sauce and stream caught trout). The prices were also less than we saw posted at other restaurants.:wink:
