Long day working with our close friends and neighbours here in Toscana, bringing in the grapes for wine to be made.
We do it together with half our medium size village every year,and it is indeed an enjoyable thing,i highly recommend it.
Fantastic wine then arrives later on! So i advise all to join in if they can.
Remember also all,now is the time for castagne(chesnuts) which are superb when cooked and make an excellent farina(flour)....also,remember it is Porcini mushroom time, and once again these are im my humble opinion,the best mushrooms on earth,with their amazingly high strength of flavour.
